Surrounded on all sides by lakes, you could fish a different lake each day.
Killeshandra could almost have been designed with the angler in mind. On the eastern side is Lough Oughter
a complex of waters with well known venues such as Rann, Fox Holes, and Killykeen.
Some of the other excellent lakes that have proven record catches are Tullyguide, Town, Bawn, Dereskit, Rockfield
and a favourite is Glasshouse.
The quality of fish in Lakeland is superb – Bream, Perch, Roach, Hybrids, Pike, Rudd and sometimes Tench.
The Town itself has for the past number of years hosted the prestigious King of Clubs Competition proof in itself of the superb quality of fishing available.
